Investment & Insurance

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially when questions about cost and insurance are involved. Our goal is to make this process as clear, supportive, and stress-free as possible, so you can focus on what really matters: your care.

  • We accept select insurance plans and also work with private pay clients.

Because insurance coverage can vary widely depending on your plan and provider, the best way to understand what applies to you is to check your benefits or reach out directly. We’re always happy to help you explore your options in a clear, supportive way.

If we’re not currently in-network with your insurance, many clients are still able to use their benefits through out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Working with private pay allows therapy to remain flexible, individualized, and client-centered—without session limits or diagnostic restrictions imposed by insurance.

    If you choose to self-pay:

    • You may request a superbill (itemized receipt)

    • This can be submitted to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan

Many clients are surprised to learn that their insurance covers a portion of therapy even when the provider is out-of-network.

To make this process easier, I partner with Thrizer, a service that helps clients check and use out-of-network benefits more seamlessly—often allowing you to pay closer to an in-network rate, without managing insurance paperwork yourself.

  • Insurance coverage and reimbursement decisions are made solely by your insurance company, not by your therapist. While we can’t guarantee coverage or reimbursement, we’ll do our best to help you understand your benefits and explore options that feel manageable and aligned for you.

If navigating insurance feels confusing or overwhelming, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

  • If you’re unsure whether:

    • Your insurance is accepted

    • Private pay might be the right option

    • Out-of-network benefits could work for you

I’d love to help you think through next steps. Feel free to reach out with questions—whether you’re ready to schedule or simply exploring if therapy feels like the right fit right now.
